The times, they are a’changing.

Northside Methodist Church has disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church, which leads to questions about what this means and what it affects… we have folks who’ve been attending their whole lives and must wonder what all will be strange and different.

I’ll tell you: if you choose to offer tithe by check, please make it out to “Northside Methodist Church,” now.

That’s really about it. For most Northside family members, the changes resulting from disaffiliation come down to administrative and legal minutiae.

But, with change in the air, we are leaning into it. With coincidental timing, Northside has found a new Music Minister, Dr. Susan Kindall, who brings a boatload of experience, skill, and talent along with a raft of excitment and new ideas. With very specified timing, we have created this new website to offer the same utility as the last, but with the intention of making it more useful and valuable.
